eco packaging

I'm getting really good at recyling boxes for packaging my eBay shipment. I was going to sedn a vintage PYREX casserole dish and lid this morning but couldn't find a box that's the right size for it... so I made one out of a crispy treats box and half of a milk packing box.

I'm feeling proud. Talking about eco packaging huh.

ebay can be cool

I've been selling some things on eBay. I sell clothing, bag, and accessories from the little boutique, which is going pretty well. Recently I've been thinking about opening up an eBay store, so I'm doing research on it, and it's fun. "Doing business is fun!" is what I've come to realize these days.

It's so exciting to do research on business projects. I feel very "useful" every time I find some interesting information and leads, especially for our caffe, and I'm hoping to use my knowledge on the eBay stores. We'll see how I do!

eBay is your friend

A lot of people know that John and I buy stuff on eBay a lot. John's most recent buy was a 60-year-old hand grinder from Germany. He would once in a while hand grind coffee beans for himself and a few of our regular customers at the caffe and be really happy. I, on the other hand, have been trying to sell things on eBay! It's been fun, but sometimes it can be a pain in the butt. So far I've sold a few bags and hats. I'm wondering if I should dig out everything that we're not using or no longer need at home and sell them as well... could be fun.

ebay is fun

I've started selling on ebay! Before this past week all we had sold on ebay was our old LaMarzocco espresso machine, but this past week I'd sold a few Von Dutch hats. It's fun.

I've also got some good connections with some designer bags and accessories, so I may start working with them and sell cool bags on ebay. We'll see.
