I watched Spanglish (2004) a few days ago and I thought it was probably one of my favorite movies now. It's so cute.
And the scene where Flor Moreno brings back a lot of Mexican baked goods for her daugher are just like the cool bakery inside the South American market on 3500 South (approx. 1850 West... I've got to find out the name of the place so I can post it!)
With that being said, I got 4 pastries from the bakery yesterday and together they were about 2.00. Steal!
I know I'm behind on this, but we just watched Waitress this past weekend. I've long heard people talk about how wonderful and fun the movie was, but never got a chance to see it quite yet until a couple days ago.
The movie premiered at Sundance last January (2007) and in limited theaters in May. You can read more about it here.
If you've watched the movie you'd know of the cute little pie song, and if you haven't seen the movie you should just run out and rent/buy the DVD and watch it. The thing is that the pie song is now stuck in my head... The full version of the song is called "Baby Don't You Cry" by Quincy Coleman. Love it!

John and I went to see "The Bourne Ultimatum" today and it's AMAZING. This one was probably the fastest-paced movie among all three Bourne movies so far. Matt Damon was HOT and he was so GOOD.
Everything happened so fast, and I thought I might have missed some things already. I can't wait for the DVD to come out!
