We were driving home last night and stopped at the traffic light. All of a sudden we heard sirens and saw quite a few police cars coming from all over, with some making sharp U-turns, and eventually surrounded a red car. We then heard the police talk through a speaker, but couldn't understand what exactly they said.

I wonder what happened?
