We didn't do much for Chinese New Year this year... yet! My friends Joyce and Otis are coming to our house for lunch on Sunday, so I guess we'll catch up with the celebration then.
I did steam up some small buns (xiao long bao) for lunch... just to add a little bit of festivity.I bought some WeiChuan frozen ones from the Asian market the other day, and I finally used the bigger bamboo steamer that I got a while ago. Bamboo steamers rock. When I was steaming the buns the kitchen smelled like a bamboo garden!
